The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has officially released the written examination date and schedule for various positions under the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock. If you are an applicant for these positions, it is crucial to stay updated with the exam timeline and strict guidelines issued by the commission.

Below is the detailed information regarding the exam date, timing, venues, and essential instructions for the candidates.

Exam Schedule & Timings

The written examination for three distinct positions under the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock will be held on June 14, 2026.

  • Exam Time: 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM (4 Hours duration).

  • Positions:

    1. Junior Instructor (Electrical) – 9th Grade (Marine Fisheries Academy, Chattogram)

    2. Assistant Fisheries Officer – 10th Grade (Department of Fisheries)

    3. Inspector – 10th Grade (Marine Fisheries Written Branch)

Examination Centers

The written exam will be conducted across two designated venues in Dhaka:

  1. BPSC Multipurpose Hall

  2. Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Government Girls’ High School

Admit Card Notice: Candidates must bring their printed admit card to enter the exam hall. If your admit card is lost or damaged, it can be downloaded again from the official BPSC website (www.bpsc.gov.bd) or the Teletalk Bangladesh portal.

Marks Distribution

The written exam will carry a total of 200 marks. Candidates must use separate answer scripts for each subject. The marks breakdown is as follows:

Important Instructions for Candidates

To avoid any complications on the exam day, candidates are requested to strictly adhere to the following BPSC guidelines:

  • Dual Applicants: Candidates who have applied for both Assistant Fisheries Officer and Marine Fisheries Inspector posts must appear for only one exam of their choice and must bring the admit card specific to that post.

  • Punctuality: Candidates must take their seats at least 15 minutes before the exam starts. No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall 15 minutes after the commencement of the exam.

  • Scribe Assistance: Differently-abled candidates who require a scribe must submit a formal application to the Director (Unit-8) of the Commission Secretariat by June 4, 2026, during office hours.

  • Prohibited Items: Books, bags, mobile phones, smartwatches, or any other electronic devices are strictly prohibited inside the exam center.

  • Calculator Policy: Only general calculators are permitted. The use of scientific calculators is completely banned.
